fabulous....there's a memory in the making. There is actually a rickety old drive-in movie theatre down the road - I think I'll take in a movie this summer.
I remember one summer in the costwolds when the town had their summer water festival. there is a 12th century abbey there and the projected films onto the side of the abbey. i could only imagine what the builders would have thought of moving pictures on their edifice.
Wow how cool. I always wished we had a drive in movie theater here like in the movies. It looks like such fun. We have a park that does something like this, but movies always start at 7pm during the week and we are like 1 hr and half away so we never make it there!
I don't know about the west coast, but all sorts of places are showing outdoor movies around here. It started here in Baltimore's Little Italy where one of the restaurants screened a movie on the side of their building. It's usually got a {positive} Italian theme to it, and the last movie of the season is always Moonstruck.
